Eleonora Tsampaou is a Director at OCTANE Management Consultants.
She has more than 18 years of experience in developing and managing EU-funded programmes and public sector projects, mainly targeting regional development, innovation and competitiveness.
Prior to joining OCTANE, Eleonora worked as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager, providing consultancy and programme management services in several sectors, including environment and resource efficiency, blue economy and digital technologies. From 2011 until 2015, she accumulated significant experience in monitoring large-scale state-aid programmes, targeting business support and technology transfer, working at a Managing Authority of ERDF funds in the microelectronics sector. Previously from 2002 until 2010, Eleonora specialized in the development of projects in the creative sector internationally and coordinated the European projects department at the National Book Centre of Greece (non for profit organization, Ministry of Culture), also being responsible for networking events during the Greek Presidencies of the EU. She also served as a trainee at the Directorate General Trade of the European Commission (Antidumping Service) and provided expertise as evaluator for the European Commission and the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation.
Eleonora holds an MSc in Economics (DEA), with specialization in European Political Economy and Applied Econometrics, from ULB (Université libre de Bruxelles) and a degree in International and European Economic Studies from the Athens University of Economics and Business. She has also studied at the Università degli Studi di Firenze (Italy) in the context of the Erasmus programme.
